Open to Australian residents over the age of 18.
The Golden Sweepstakes contest opens (date) at 9am & closes (date) at 5pm.
A Preliminary Prize Draw will take place on (date) at (time) at the Promoter’s premises at (address).
One person will be randomly selected from all entries & then will be invited to participate in the Major Prize Draw at the Promoter’s premises on (date) at (time).
The Major Prize of $50,000 is “an insured prize”, meaning that the person selected at the Preliminary Draw has a 1 in 250 chance of winning it.
At this Major Prize Draw, this person uses a laptop computer to participate in the Draw, selecting a number between 1 & 250 on the screen – & then he or she “spins a 250 number electronic wheel”.
This is a digital wheel provided by Prizetech, the “prize insurer” – & if the person’s selected number comes up, the entrant wins the $50,000 prize.
Alternatively, if the selected number doesn’t come up, the entrant wins a Consolation Prize of (details here).
The spinning wheel has 250 possible numbers, hence the entrant’s chances of winning the $50,000 prize are 1 in 250.
